English as a foreign language students’ mindfulness, academic motivation, and academic performance

<span lang="EN-US">Previous studies found that academic motivation has a role in affecting performance. Along with that, the experts lately investigate mindfulness as one of cognitive aspects related to student’s This study aimed find out correlations among mindfulness, motivation, and performance context English foreign language (EFL) student Indonesia. Using quantitative correlation design, this involved 170 students from education program university Five Facets Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ), Academic Motivation Scale (AMS), grade point average (GPA) official data were used collection instruments. Furthermore, measure contribution between variables, Pearson product-moment coefficient regression analyses conducted. The result showed most had low scale, high AMS dominant extrinsic type, very satisfactory GPA. However, there was no Moreover, it only amotivation subscale negative significant performance.</span>
